Cipher Stash is a privacy-focused vault application designed to store user data securely on the user’s device. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data and permissions.

2. Data Access and Usage

Camera

The app may request camera access only when the user chooses to capture photos or videos within the app. Captured media remains on the device and is not transmitted off-device.

Photos and Videos

Users may import photos and videos using system file or photo pickers. The app does not request broad or persistent access to the device’s media library.

Location (Optional)

Location access, if enabled, is used only for optional security-related features such as location-based access rules. Location data is processed locally and not shared.

Biometric Authentication

Biometric authentication is handled entirely by the operating system. The app does not store or access biometric data.

Payments

Payments are processed through Google Play Billing. The app does not store payment or credit card information.

3. Data Collection and Sharing

• No personal data is collected or sold.
• No analytics or advertising SDKs are used.
• No data is shared with third parties.

4. User Control

Users may revoke permissions, delete stored data, or uninstall the app at any time. Core functionality is not blocked if optional permissions are denied.

5. Data Security

The app uses platform-level security features including app-private storage, operating system encryption, and secure authentication APIs.

6. Children’s Privacy

Cipher Stash is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
